An evolutionary way of thinking is dominating Christian life

Most Christians do not believe in evolution. A normal Christian has no doubt that God created this world. But while reputable scientific knowledge disproves and rejects the theory of evolution, the social consciousness structure based on the theory of evolution has settled in the minds of Christians and is influencing their thinking.

People believe in evolution in spite of themselves. When a child learns to read, he or she should start out with a book that is easy to read. That is common sense. But nowadays, evolutionary way of thinking is encouraging us to choose a fun and interesting book over one that is simple and easy to read. We believe we will naturally continue to read entertaining books, and if we continue to read such books, someday we will naturally acquire the ability to read difficult and complex books on our own. As a result, IQ has increased by 30 percent compared to 30 years ago, while reading comprehension has decreased by 30 percent.

Math is also taught using an evolutionary way of thinking. We believe kids will grow to hate math if we make them stick to traditional arithmetic calculations, so we introduce them to more fun and creative gadgets to play with. Once the kids start playing around with those gadgets, we expect them to continue to play with them more and more, become smarter with each passing day, start toying around with even more complex gadgets, and naturally become a genius like Albert Einstein. Isn¡¯t it strange? Society is making us believe if we let kids have a good time and enjoy themselves without any studying, they will one day eventually possess complex math skills.

Parents who neglect their kids to become addicted to computers and other mobile devices are often contaminated with this way of thinking: ¡°My child hates studying, but likes computers. If he plays around with his computer, I believe someday he will naturally develop the intelligence and inclination to study well. I have no intention to force my kid to study. Parents should never pressure their kids into something they don¡¯t want to do.¡± If you¡¯re reading this, please check if perhaps you are contaminated with evolutionary thought.

Some us of mistakenly believe that character evolves. Parents often say, ¡°Just leave them be. When they grow older, they¡¯ll know what to do. It¡¯s because they¡¯re still young.¡± They aren¡¯t trying to set their kids straight at all. People these days have a tendency to believe if kids are left alone, they will naturally become well-mannered, be considerate of others, have a sense of sound judgment, know how to love their neighbors, have respect for their parents, and grow up on their own.

No good thing happens by itself some time or other. We should not be fooled. Don¡¯t expect things in life to be handed to you on a silver platter. Good and beautiful things don¡¯t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work. We must never forget that there are always blood, sweat, and tears behind every good thing.
